These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by GW Sparkles Pty Ltd (ABN 36 681 888 826), trading as Glitter World ("we", "us", "our"). Our store is located at Unit 4, 80–88 Rodeo Drive, Dandenong South VIC 3178.
2. Using this website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We try to keep information accurate and up to date but don't guarantee it is free of errors.
3. Orders & acceptance
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we accept the order — usually when we send an order confirmation or dispatch your items. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or we suspect fraud), and if we do, we'll refund any payment for the affected items.
4. Prices & payment
- Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Payment is taken at checkout via our accepted methods (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay). Payments are handled by third-party providers, whose terms also apply.
- We aim to price everything correctly, but if an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you, even after it's placed.
5. Shipping & delivery
We dispatch from Melbourne, typically within 1–2 business days, with tracking. Delivery timeframes and costs are set out on our Shipping & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Returns & your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
We also accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days on unused product in its original condition — see the Shipping & Returns page for how this works.
7. Product & colour accuracy
Glitter is a natural sparkler — cut, finish and colour can vary slightly between batches, and screens display colour differently, so the product you receive may look a little different from your monitor. Product images are a guide, not an exact match.
8. Safe use of our products
Only glitter marked cosmetic-grade should be used on skin — patch-test first and keep it away from the eyes. Craft glitter and glitter candles are decorative and not for use on the body. Keep products out of reach of children and pets. See our FAQ and Choosing Glitter guide for detail. You're responsible for using products safely and as intended.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Glitter World name, logo, text, images and design — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
